DDHS would like to thank those community members that reached out to say thank you to our staff this week, during Teacher Appreciation Week! We concluded the week with a celebration for our staff through the DDHS Bridges Classroom hosting a "Potato Bar Luncheon" for staff today (5/6/22). Mrs. Sanders, lead teacher in the Bridges classroom, along with various aides and students, shared a kind luncheon thank-you with all staff during various lunches this afternoon.
It is never too late to show your child's teacher(s) that you appreciate them. Please consider calling, writing, or sending a small gift for a teacher that has made a special impact or connection with your child. Five weeks remain of this academic year, and after the immense amount of effort our DDHS Staff have poured into teaching this year, they could certainly use a "thank you" from the community!
