Students in Mrs. Alonzo's and Mr. DeNoyer's Algebra 2 classes engaged in some Geometric Modeling Tasks using toothpicks and marshmallows. They had to create 3-dimensional figures, measure and calculate surface area and volume, then extend their learning by trying to create figures with various conditions. It wasn't as easy as it looks!
