The 5K dual language students in Ms. Guerrero’s class had a fun Egg Hunt/Subtraction practice. They found the eggs, solved the equations and ate some candy!


Read Across America is next week so the school has fun activities planned to promote reading!

The 21st Century Learning Center housed at Turtle Creek (CCLC) is offering a free adult class the second Tuesday of every month. Parents who do not have students enrolled in CCLC are still invited to attend. The deadline to enroll is Friday, November 5th. Email mminton@ddschools.org if interested to reserve your spot today!

The Harvest Time Hullabaloo presented by Delavan Parks and Recreation and Aram Public Library at Turtle Creek Elementary School is still on for tonight from 6-8 pm. The event is primarily outside and includes games, treats, a story walk, and more! Come for some family fun!


The 21st Century Community Learning Center (referred to as CCLC), is an after school program offered at Turtle Creek Elementary for students in grades 5K to 4th grade. This program is free of cost to families, but is limited to only 60 students.
On Friday, September 24th, there is an informational meeting for families who have signed up at 5:00 PM in the Turtle Creek Library.
CCLC starts Monday, September 27. There are still a handful of open spots left! If you're interested in learning more, please contact mminton@ddschools.org or your teacher.

The second week of school at Turtle Creek Elementary has included a lot of guided discovery, especially in science. Students are asking questions, making observations, and solving problems like little engineers.
