Mrs. Reichert's & Mrs. Seitz’s class incubated Mallard eggs for 28 days. They began hatching on Monday, May 16th and some took over 24 hours to fully break out of their shells. We had a brood of 8 ducklings by Monday afternoon. We had an amazing time learning the patience and fragility of the mallard duckling life cycle.
