The 5K & 1st grade students of the Dual Language program along with Ms. Godoy and Ms. Castro had the opportunity to meet the Guatemalan authors Juli Bermudez and Itala Vettorazzi. This opportunity allowed them to value the Spanish language as well as the Guatemalan culture, literature and fauna. Students also had the opportunity to put their creative skills into practice in the art room with Ms. Hill by making clay sculptures. What fun it is to broaden your horizons and learn about the world!
