Turtle Creek Elementary School (4K-2)

The 1st Grade students in the dual language program worked very hard on writing their own informational book about their favorite animal. First, the students had to research their animal by using resources like the school library and educational websites such as PebbleGo, RAZ-Kids, and BrainPOP Jr. After researching, students learned about the writing process; to draft, revise, edit, and finally publish their books. After the students finished their books, they invited the 4K students to learn about their animal by reading their books. The 4K students got to learn all about different animals. Great job to all the students!
