Turtle Creek Elementary School (4K-2)

1st grade students at Turtle Creek created a very large close up of a snowman in Art Class. They worked with different shapes to create the snowman's body first. Afterwards they created a pattern scarf, and printed the mouth and the sky. Keep up the amazing work! Then during Computer class these students recreated their Snowman project in Google Draw. Students were tasked with using Google Drawing shapes, a rectangle for the scarf, triangle for the carrot nose, circle for the snowman head and clouds for the falling snow. Students also had to manipulate sizes, change fill colors, border colors, rotate shapes. along with learning the copy and paste function. Way to Go 1st graders! #CometNation
