Delavan-Darien High Schools' Construction Course students and teachers recently engaged in a real-life class project to build and deliver a storage shed to a community member that purchased the goods and services from DDHS.
The community members ordered the shed from the DDHS Construction Crew here at DDHS. They provided the desired dimensions, doors, windows, and even color for the building & shingles. The crew delivered the shed to the community members house on Tuesday, November 9, and set the shed on 6x6 beams for a solid foundation and added the doors and touch up paint the next day. Every detail, from design to delivery, was taken care of by Mr. Tom Duval's Construction Crew.
