Reality

Delavan-Darien High School’s Personal Finance classes learn real-world scenarios for financing their future, through a virtual experience provided by Educators Credit Union.

Reality Check Day lets students pick a career and are assigned an income, marital status, and more. They will then manage their budget during this virtual simulation. Educators Credit Union partners with schools to host this event so students can learn the importance of managing their money in a safe environment.

Personal Finance is a required course for graduation at DDHS, and is assigned to students’ Junior Year schedule.

The Business Education department is committed to providing students with college and career readiness skills. For more information about the business education courses offered at DDHS, visit here
