Sutures 2021

Students in Mr. Speth's Veterinary Science course recently had the opportunity to practice both continuous and non-continuous suturing as part of the Veterinary Science curriculum at DDHS.  Threading the suture needle, using a needle holder and knot tying were all part of the challenge.  Students practiced these skills on bananas.

These skills, and many other that lead to careers, are afforded students at DDHS through many of our various required and elective courses.  If any potential student is interested in learning more about careers and pathways offered at DDHS, please call Mr. Karedes (principal) at 262-233-6601 to schedule a tour or to inquire about further information.
