Delavan Darien High School has been invited to share its talents with the community. Tom DuVal, Woods and Construction Teacher at DDHS, was contacted by the owners of Studio Jade, a new salon opening in East Troy. They wanted students in his club to build a custom made shelving unit that would divide their space and also hold their color products. Peter Cook, a senior at DDHS, and Mr. DuVal are shown installing the completed unit at the salon. Salon owners, Kali Spangenberger and Sierra Minton provided the following feedback, "We were only able to provide a picture of what we wanted and were very impressed with the communication and attention to details throughout this project. The professionalism of student, Peter Cook, while on site in our salon was also very commendable. We would highly recommend Delavan's Construction students for custom made projects and renovations."
