Students in Mrs. Irwin's Biology 2 course are setting up and running DNA crime scene and paternity analysis. Students used gel electrophoresis to separate DNA fragments and analyze the results. They also are mastering the use of micropipettes to move the small samples. Interesting fact: the micropipette was invented right here in Wisconsin.
