Congratulations to DDHS student, Marisol Soto, on her amazing accomplishment of completing all three Hospitality courses required to receive the Hospitality Essentials Certificate through Gateway Technical College! Through completing this program she has received 9 free college credits, a Hospitality Essentials Certificate, and a diploma from Gateway as a graduate of the Hospitality Essentials program. This is an incredible achievement considering she hasn't even graduated high school yet! We wish Marisol the best with her future endeavors.
We would also like to congratulate the 27 students in the Hospitality Services class on passing the AHLEI (American Hotel and Lodging Educational Institute) Guest Service Gold exam. These students have received a Guest Service Gold Professional Certificate and a gold pin to celebrate their accomplishment from AHLEI. Their teacher, Jacqueline Jordan, is extremely proud of their achievements.
