On January 11, 2021, John Moses (pictured to the left) won the American Legion Oratorical Competition and he will go on to compete again! The next competition will occur on Monday, January 18th at the Delavan American Legion! If he wins, he will go on to the January 23 contest! He will be awarded scholarships at every win! The runner-up was DDHS freshman, Alex Galvan (pictured to the right)..
Contest dates/locations:
January 18th at (doors open at 6) Contest at 6:30 pm at the American Legion post in Delavan.
January 23, 7:00 pm at the heritage Hall in Elkhorn (district contest).
February 13 American Legion State Headquarters, Portage, WI (state contest).
