Mrs Scott’s Computer Applications class was introduced to Microsoft Excel by playing Battleship. Students played Excel Battleship to learn how to move around an Excel spreadsheet. Excel Battleship also allowed students to review coordinates using Excel’s rows and columns to locate information; compare and contrast Microsoft Excel with Microsoft Word; review and explore the ribbon tabs; use mouse and/or keyboard arrows to navigate the rows and columns; and how to format and type in cells. Congratulations to our Excel Battleship winners: Nathan Hackett, Hannia Nevarez Martinez, and Jennifer Lopez.
Students will then have an opportunity to become certified in Microsoft Office products, which will look awesome on their resume.
