🎉 Here’s what’s in store for the day:
3:00 PM: Independence Day Parade (6th Street to Phoenix Park)
4:00–5:45 PM: Celebration of Freedom at Phoenix Park Bandshell. Featuring live music by Gary Stebnitz, Marine Corps Parade of Colors, and the National Anthem
6:00 PM: Ain’t That America: A John Mellencamp Tribute Band
💙 Family-Friendly Celebration at DDHS | 5:30–8:30 PM
Join us for an evening full of fun, games, and school spirit on the Delavan-Darien High School grounds! Activities include:
Free bounce houses
Face painting & temporary tattoos
“Pie a Cheerleader” fundraiser
Photo booth
Spirit Store open—grab your favorite Comet gear and show off your blue and gold pride!
Live performance by the Delavan Youth Cheer Team at 6:15 PM

🎯 Dunk Tank: Come dunk your favorite Comet football player or coach!

🎇 9:00–9:45 PM – Flag Ceremony & Fireworks
Cap off the night with a patriotic flag ceremony followed by a stunning fireworks display presented by J&M Displays, viewable from the Borg Stadium stands.
