The Delavan-Darien School District is excited to once again offer our Summer Meals Program, providing free nutritious meals to children throughout the summer months. Through this program, families can receive breakfast and lunch meals to help ensure children have access to healthy food when school is not in session. Meals will include a combination of shelf-stable and perishable items that may require refrigeration or freezing.
Meals-to-Go Program (Open to the Community)
June 18 – July 23, 2026
Families who register in advance may pick up three days' worth of breakfast and lunch meals every Thursday during one of the following times: 12:30 – 1:00 PM or 4:30 – 6:00 PM.
July 30 – September 3, 2026
Families who register in advance may pick up seven days' worth of breakfast and lunch meals every Thursday from 4:00 – 6:00 PM. This form will be sent out the middle of July for this program.

When registering, families will be asked to provide:
Parent/guardian name(s) that will be picking up the meals
Phone number and email address
Names and ages of children living in the household that you are requesting meals for
At the time of pick-up, we will ask you to verify the information provided on the form, so we know we are providing meals to the correct household.
Each week, we will email you the menu for the following week, along with storage and preparation instructions. The meals are planned to provide well-balanced, healthy meals that meet the nutritional and energy needs of children.
Please note:
Children do not need to be enrolled in the Delavan-Darien School District to participate in the program.
No proof of income is required.
The person(s) listed on the sign-up form must be the person(s) picking up the meals.
Meals will be provided to all children without discrimination.

For summer school students and screened visitors:
Breakfast: 7:45 – 8:15 AM
Lunch: 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Meals will be served Monday through Thursday.
