The Delavan-Darien School District is proud to announce Chris Zimmerman as the new Associate Principal for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. Mr. Zimmerman, who has served as Interim Associate Principal at Phoenix Middle School since January of this year, will officially take over the position at the start of the new school year.

Bringing a robust background in educational administration, Chris Zimmerman has previously enriched the academic and social environment at the Delavan-Darien High School, where he was the Associate Principal for seven years. His leadership there was characterized by a strategic approach to student achievement and community engagement.

During his time as Interim Associate Principal, Mr. Zimmerman demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities and an unwavering dedication to the students, families and staff at Phoenix Middle School. His strategic initiatives and innovative approaches have been instrumental in addressing the unique challenges of middle school education, ensuring a supportive and effective learning environment for all our students.
