We are delighted to introduce you to our new School Resource Officer (SRO), Hooper. Continuing her education, Ruth earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from Upper Iowa University in 2021. During her studies, she completed a 400-hour internship at a juvenile crisis center in Kenosha, further enhancing her understanding of mental health and crisis intervention. Ruth's commitment to making a positive impact extends beyond her professional life. From 2015 to 2020, she volunteered at Smiles, a local organization dedicated to helping those in need. Now, Ruth is excited to embark on a new chapter as a school resource officer with the Delavan-Darien School District, where she can combine her passion for law enforcement with her desire to work with children. With her diverse background and unwavering dedication, Ruth Hooper is well-equipped to make a difference in the lives of our students and the community she serves.
