The Delavan-Darien School District is proud to announce that the following students will represent the Delavan-Darien High School at Badger State this year.
Congratulations to Emily Lock, William Olson, Malachi Webb, Logan Thiele and Zachary Miller.
The Badger Girls and Badger Boys were selected by faculty nomination based on the following criteria:
- An interest in government and citizenship
- Leadership
- Good moral character
- Cooperativeness
- Dependability
- Participation in extracurricular activities
American Legion Auxiliary Badger Girls State (ALABGS) and American Legion Badger Boys State are week-long government/leadership conferences for young men and women in their junior year of high school. Attendees of the program will learn by doing as they become citizens of the fifty-first state, the state of Badger. DDHS delegates will have the opportunity to run for offices on the city, county and state levels of government and will work together to make Badger the best state in the Nation.
