About Dr. Sorbie

Hello, my name is Jill Sorbie, and I am proud to be the District Administrator for the Delavan-Darien School District.  I thoroughly enjoy being a Comet and leading this amazing district.  One very important goal I have is transparency.  I believe this can be achieved through effective communication.  Each month, stakeholders receive the Comet Community Chronicle.  You can also find them on our website (click here).  It is through this newsletter that I share where we are heading.  I am devoted to positively impacting this district as an instructional leader, fiscal leader, and community leader.

I am proud of the amazing DDSD educators as we offer unique opportunities for every child.  We celebrate their individuality and embrace their differences. Overall, we cherish your child, nurture them to be their best, and challenge them to reach the next level.
