SkillsUSA 2019

DDHS is very proud to announce that through the leadership of our SkillsUSA teachers, Mr. Mike Rick and Ms. Jacqueline Jordan, we had 6 students achieve recognition through their SkillsUSA competitions on Tuesday and Wednesday, April 30 and May 1, 2019.

Finishing in 3rd place was Jordy Perez in the Medical Terminology competition.

Finishing in 2nd place was Kody Parks and Corban Larson in the Additive Manufacturing Technology competition.

Finishing in 1st place, and qualifying for the National Competition (hosted in Louisville, Kentucky in June), is the team of Trent Hernandez, Zach Mortlock and Stephen Tolbert in the Engineering Technology Design competition.

Congratulations to all 22 DDHS student competitors and staff for an EXCELLENT representation of the skills and talents of our students!
