The bookmobile is ready! Students who have signed up for the bookmobile will be receiving their first set of books soon. Haven't signed up yet? It's not too late! You can sign up by returning your pledge sheet to your teacher or sign up at the Ice Cream Social on May 31st!
Tomorrow, Friday 5/31, will be the Annual Ice Cream Social here at Turtle Creek from 6:00-7:30pm. Come for some delicious ice cream, sign up for the Bookmobile, and try to get your favorite staff members wet in the dunk tank. We look forward to seeing you all tomorrow.
Turtle Creek will be hosting a Forensics Meet tomorrow (Saturday 4/27) beginning at 8:30am. There will be 200 students from 11 different schools competing. TC has students participating and they have been working hard to prepare for this. We wish them good luck!
Our 3rd and 4th graders finished the ELA sessions of the Forward Assessment last week and will complete the last part of the testing with Math Tuesday and Wednesday this week. We will finish Comet Strong!
Our 4th graders will be taking the Social Studies portion of the Forward Exam tomorrow (4/3) and Thursday (4/4). They have been showing a lot of Grit (one of our school themes) throughout this process.
Spring Break is next week! No school Monday (3/25) - Friday (3/29). Enjoy the time with your children!
Our 4th graders will be taking the Science portion of the Forward Exam next week Monday- Wednesday (3/18-3/20). As always, be sure they get enough sleep, have a good breakfast, get to school on time, and encourage them to do their best!
We will be having a Spirit Week next week (3/18-3/22). The themes are: Monday (Green Day), Tuesday (Sports Team Day), Wednesday (Superhero Day - no costumes), Thursday (Crazy Hair Day), Friday (Hawaiian/Beach Day). It will be a fun week as we gear up for Spring Break!
TC is inviting all Wileman and Turtle Creek families to come to our Reading Restaurant Thursday (3/14) from 5:30-7:00pm. Visit all of our restaurants for some fun family reading and eating time. We look forward to seeing you all!
