Springs Park Trail Closure for Gas Line Repair

Attention Delavan-Darien parents and students who walk to school,The city of Delavan has informed us that beginning early November, a gas line in the Lower Springs Park area will be replaced, causing a temporary closure of the walking trail that runs from the park entrance at West Geneva Street to Terrace Street. The work is expected to last about five weeks. This work will affect the walking routes of any Delavan-Darien student who walks home to or from school through that section of Springs Park. An alternate route will be needed during construction.
