Gov. Walker visits DDHS to talk with Juniors, Seniors

Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker, a DDHS Class of 1986 graduate, returned to his Alma Mater Friday, May 26, to talk to current juniors and seniors about his life in and after high school and how he got to where he is today. The event was part of a series of discussions and presentations seniors have had with various other DDHS alumni from over the years. The presentation was made during the homeroom half-hour, which is held every Friday. See photos and videos on our website!

Darien is making Mindful fourth graders

Darien Elementary School fourth graders have been studying what it means to be "mindful" and what mindful behavior looks like. Each student made a pledge on how he or she would show mindful behaviors in their community. Some examples include being kind to animals, going to church, donating to charities, volunteering and more. It's higher-level thinking in our fourth grade! #Amazing!
