Credits – Below are the credit requirements for DDHS seniors. If all of the requirements are not met, diplomas will not be issued and students will not participate in the graduation ceremony. Each student must meet all requirements.
In order to graduate from Delavan-Darien High School in 2013, a student must have accumulated a minimum of 24 credits. These credits must include the following:

A minimum of 4 credits in English distributed as follows: English 9, English 10, and a minimum of 2 credits of English during the junior and senior years

A minimum of 3 credits in Social Studies as follows: World Geography, 1 credit; U.S. History, 1 credit; European History to 1500, Modern European History 1500 to Present, OR 20th Century World History, ½ credit or AP European History, 1 credit; American Political Systems, ½ credit or AP Government & Politics, 1 credit.

A minimum of 1 credit in Biological Science and 1 credit in Physical Science.

A minimum of 2 credits in mathematics.

A minimum of 1½ credits in Physical Education including ½ credit PE 9/10.

¼ credit in Health and Wellness AND ¼ credit in Healthy Lifestyles.

A minimum of ¼ credit in Fine Arts (Art, Music or World Language).

A minimum of ¼ credit in Vocational Education (Agriculture, Business Education, Career Connections, or Technology Education.
