DDHS

Items needed for DDHS students vary by classes. All students should bring a backpack, an assortment of pens and pencils, loose-leaf paper and folders to class on the first day of school. Individual class teachers will inform students of particular items needed for each class.

 


Phoenix

Grade 6

MUST HAVE:
6 - pocket folders
6 - single subject spiral notebooks
Package of lined paper
Pencils (to be replenished throughout the school year)
Calculator (any type is fine)

Darien

If you bought headphones last year, they will be given to your child’s teacher this year. Please do not purchase additional headphones unless notified.

Assignment notebooks will be provided for grades 3-5. Replacement notebooks cost $3.
GYM SHOES may be your child’s regular school shoes if they are regular tennis shoes with low soles.

Absolutely NO backpacks with wheels. They do not fit in our lockers.

Please check with your student(s) throughout the year to see if their supplies need to be replaced.

Please do not label items that are to be shared as community items. ALL other items should be labeled with child’s name. 

Any brand of facial tissues (Kleenex is one brand), glue, scissors, crayons, or markers are generally acceptable.  We find that crayons and markers made by Crayola are tougher, last longer, and are a better value for the money.

 


Wileman

REMINDER FOR PARENTS WHEN PURCHASING SUPPLIES:
Supplies should be replenished throughout the school year, as needed! 
You may wish to buy extras ahead while at sale prices!  Students’ names should be marked on all items!
Art supplies are needed for grades 1st through 5th and are listed last within in each class list.
Art Smock – Can be any old large or x-large shirt, including a t-shirt.
Gym Shoes – Tennis shoes with low soles, which can be the shoes they wear everyday. 
Also, please only have tennis shoes with shoestrings if the child can tie them.
Put all money sent to school in an envelope with the child’s name, teacher’s name, and what the money is for.
