The Wisconsin Covenant is a program created to inspire young people to plan early for a successful high-school career that will lead to higher education. Eighth graders in Wisconsin are invited to sign the Wisconsin Covenant Pledge, a promise that they will:

•    Earn a high-school diploma.
• Maintain at least a “B” average in high school.
• Complete the classes they need to prepare them for higher education.
• Demonstrate good citizenship and participate in their community.
• Apply for state and federal financial aid in a timely manner.
• Take the necessary steps to gain admission to a University of Wisconsin System institution, a Wisconsin Technical College, and/or a Wisconsin private college or university.   

Students are eligible to sign the Wisconsin Pledge if they are in eighth grade or if it is before Sept. 30 of their Freshman year.

Students planning to take the ACT can register online.  Paper versions of the registration form are available in Student Services. Information for parents can be found here.

2010 - 2011 Tests:

Test dates and registration deadlines are posted.  Students planning to take the SAT can register online through the CollegeBoard website.

NCAA Eligibility Center

Student athletes planning to attend a Division I or II college or university and play sports must register.  The recommendation by NCAA is that students register in Grade 11.  Students should review the list of NCAA approved classes as they plan their course requests throughout high school.

WISCareers is a college and career exploration tool that all students have access to at Phoenix Middle School and Delavan-Darien High School. Questions about using the program and login information can be directed to any school counselor.
