Programs: Unique Programs: Project M.O.S.T.

Since its inception in 1993, the main goals of Project MOST have been to provide leadership skills to middle and high school students and to promote a better understanding and appreciation of cultural diversity.

Students involved in Project MOST get a chance to provide leadership opportunities, promote a better understanding of cultural diversity, train students in communication and peer helping skills and promote student, staff, and community awareness of cultural issues.

Project MOST members usually start working with this group while they are students at Phoenix Middle School. Students are are selected because they are positive role models and possess strong leadership qualities.

These characteristics, as well as their desire to help peers and their demonstration of tolerance and acceptance, are criteria that describe Project MOST participants at both the middle school and high school levels.

Individuals who were members in middle school may transition to the group in high school.

Any student interested in becoming a new member should talk to a Project MOST advisor for more information.

Members are expected to work toward the group goals and be active participants in Project MOST. Also, to participate in any activities, members need to be caught up and passing all of their classes.
