Our news blog gives an "inside the walls and halls" look at what happens in our school district on a daily basis. Follow it regularly or subscribe and be notified via e-mail whenever new posts are added.(*You can subscribe in the box at right.) Articles, photos and videos on a range of topics are updated regularly.
All of our news releases are archived on our news blog. Our School-Community Relations Department periodically sends news releases to area media outlets, including newspapers and radio stations. This has made our district more visible in our community and in the region.
It's a treat to 'tweet.' We're having fun keeping people up to date with our district happenings by tweeting them on Twitter. Twitter is a rich source of instantly updated information. It's easy to stay updated by following us @ddschools.
Our students and teachers look good while learning. See for yourself in our online photo galleries hosted by SmugMug.com. The photo galleries give a look inside of our schools to see the many activities that go on throughout the school year. If you like what you see and want a keepsake, you can buy the photos from the site. Have prints made, T-shirts, coffee mugs, mousepads and much more. Instructions can be found here. Proceeds go into the district's general fund.
Occasionally, the Delavan-Darien School District will broadcast events live online on our PlayOn Sports channel. Click the Live Online link to see if we're broadcasting. When we do, we'll have a link on our homepage alerting visitors they can get a live look at what's going on in our school district.
First there was radio... then TV... now, web videos. We've jumped on the video bandwagon and are starting to produce more online videos to show off our students' talents, and to give you an electronic "show and tell" of sorts, highlighting the many cool things about our district.
Our RSS feeds are another way to stay connected. Subscribe to them all or only the ones you're interested in and keep track of new stories and posts as they appear. We also have our feeds available in Spanish.
