Mission Statement
The Delavan-Darien School District Foundation is organized and shall be operated exclusively to promote education through the granting of scholarships and financial assistance to the students, former students and the faculty of the Delavan-Darien School District and to award recognition and incentive grants and prizes to faculty and students or to engage in such other activities that clearly promote educational quality opportunities and awareness among faculty, students and parents, or to assist in the improvement of the curriculum and facilities of the Delavan-Darien School District.

What we do
The Delavan-Darien School District Foundation is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization established to raise funds for the School District of Delavan-Darien, its students, teachers, staff and facilities. Contributions to the Foundation are tax deductible per Internal Revenue Service regulations and are used exclusively for purposes designated by donors. The Foundation is governed by a nine-member board of directors who approve all expenditures, grants and scholarships awarded by the Foundation. Each director is elected on a three-year term and can serve no more than three consecutive terms.
Why is your donation important
An educated citizenry is essential to our democracy. The costs of higher education have far outpaced the rate of inflation in recent years. Your donation to the Foundation's scholarship program provides financial assistance to Delavan-Darien High School graduates as they seek post-secondary opportunities. It is a tangible sign of the community's faith in its graduates to allow them to achieve their educational goals and make their dreams a reality.
The Delavan-Darien School District foundation assists as many students as possible with scholarships and grants for their post-secondary education plans. However, we can only accomplish this goal with the support of the residents of the community and school district. Your gift of cash, stock or a bequest from your estate will assist the Foundation in achieving this goal and demonstrate your faith in Delavan-Darien High School graduates.
