In a snow or other emergency, the Superintendent will make the decision regarding the closure of the Delavan-Darien Schools no later than 6 a.m.
If schools are closed, information will be broadcast via the following:
• AlertNow message system — All staff members and parent’s who have their home phone number, or a cell phone number, on file with the school district will receive an automatic phone call notifying them that schools are closed or delayed. (Parents wishing to sign up for, or update their information in the AlertNow message system should contact their child’s school office at 262-728-2642)
• Media outlets — Information about school closings will be sent to the following media outlets:
