WISCareers -  We will be using WISCareers as a tool in the 9th Grade Classroom Guidance Unit.

December 14

1. Update "Personal Information" in ILP/ePortfolio "Who am I?" section.
2. Attach "9th Grade Questionairre" to ILP/ePortfolio in "Personal Information" .

December 15

1. Complete the following assessments in WISCareers:  "Quick Self-Assessment: Interests", "Quick Self-Assessments: Skills", "Occupational Assessments: Work Values". 

December 17

1. Create a new section called: "MY GOALS" in your ILP/ePortfolio.
2. Complete the Academic Goal form.  Focus on one school related goal that is important to you, attach your Academic Goal page to this section.  
3. Complete Career Cluster Survey  *Complete the Career Cluster Survey,  *Review your results and reflect on them, how do they relate to your interests?  *Copy results to a word document, save in your student folder, Create a new section called "CAREER CLUSTER SURVEY" and upload it into your WISCareers ILP/ePortfolio.  Reflective statements should be written in your ePortfolio.  

December 18

1. Complete the Career Goal form.  Attach your Career Goal page to the "MY GOALS" section in your ILP/ePortfolio.
2. Write a 3-Paragraph Personal Statement in you WISCareers ILP/eportfolio (My Information tab)

              Paragraph 1 - Who am I?  (strengths, interests, hobbies, awards, extra-curriculars, etc.)

              Paragraph 2 - Where am I going?  (goals, post-secondary education, careers, etc.)

              Paragraph 3 - How do I get there? (action you'll take, tasks to complete, etc.)

     3. "SHARE" your ILP/ePortfolio with your school counselor,English teacher, and Homeroom teacher.

     4.  Complete a Personal/Social Goal form.  Attach your Personal/Social Goal page to the "MY GOALS" section in you ILP/ePortfolio.

If you have extra time, complete the Captain Career activity and Budget Builder Assessment in WISCareers.
